We had a great time competing a few weeks ago in Nashville, TN! It was everyone's first-ever competition - we took home 3 bronze medals, adding up to 12 gold, 11 silver, & 18 bronze across 7 states over the last 3 years! We’re looking forward to Chicago next month!
Recently https://t.co/XtoUMjdD12 began teaching basic sewing to our students! Sewing is an essential skill— an excellent way for children to develop fine motor skills, build self-confidence & exercise creativity. Our students were "sew" excited to build their own pillow!
Recently Ignited for Christ helped celebrate the opening of the Smart Center at Greenville University with a Step Dance in celebration of Black History Month! Fine Arts is a cornerstone of our programming!
Recently we celebrated Read Across America Day (Dr. Suess Day) @ CAC! Celebrating the ryhme & rhythm of Dr. Suess's colorful storytelling was an enchanting & educationally good time! We want our kids to know they can be what they want to be & follow their dreams! #readingisfun

Recently our kids had a chance to meet with the CEO of Wings of Hope To discuss their Soaring for STEM program. In the program the kids will learn about aviation and even get to fly in the planes!We are excited about the opportunity for our kids! #STEMeducation

Recently our 6th graders attended Vineyard Community Church for a night of fellowship where we cooked lasagna & no-bake chocolate & peanut butter cookies. It was a wonderful time getting to know one another and exploring culinary techniques! We’re thankful for their friendship!

The first year of the CAC Online program was very rewarding! Not only have we served 100+ students, but we have also seen 21 students complete their requirements & receive diplomas. We begin 2020 with 64 students enrolled! We’re so excited to see where this program goes in 2020!
How else do you celebrate the arrival of autumn than with a trip to Eckert’s farm! Our second and third graders had lots of fun exploring the corn maze, making friends in the petting zoo, and enjoying the wide open spaces! #fallfun
