Canadians need relief at the grocery store and that’s exactly what we are doing! After close to a year of record profits the BIG 5 grocery chains will have to work for Canadians not against them. Because it is unfair seeing Canadians struggle while the grocery giants make record profits.

The Federal government will be requiring grocery chains to come up with a plan that provides real relief on grocery prices to Canadians by Thanksgiving. If they fail to do so, the Federal government will take further action and has ruled nothing out. We will ensure Canadians get the relief they need.

I will do everything in my power to make life more affordable for the residents of Whitby and for Canadians across the country. 🙏
