@jubreell86@Rufyb The entire business model for Alerzo has been wrong from the beginning. I was in ibadan for a week in 2024, analysing their GTM strategy in major markets in ibadan and ilorin, working for a competing brand, and that's when I wrote them off.
@jubreell86@Rufyb Honestly, I didn't know Alerzo was still operational till date, I wrote them off far back as 2024. Honestly, anyone who had insider knowledge of the e-commerce (retail distribution) business will laugh at this whole fiasco.
@jubreell86@Rufyb You're so correct with omniretail. That's one thing they got right, they tried so much to be asset light and focused more on margin play than commercial distribution from their early years (helped by their root to Multi pro/tolaram).
@txlvni@akinkunmi@moski____ Lol.. You actually got it right. The 2 key bottle necks that dragged Jumia food down was 1. Logistics 2. POD and those are the 2 things chowdeck got right. Jumia food financial books were always on negative cos of POD, and they could not sustain it in the long run.
@Richmonb@investbamboo This is so great, sir. I wanted to apply for my wife, but the application portal has been closed, and the email address attached to mary is not functional either. Please can i send her CV DM. I know she's going to make a great fit for bamboo
@oyinbby_ 😂😂 this feels familiar. I bought a phone for my mum, and they stole it from her a week later. The old woman was legit crying like her life was gone.
@Choji_ES @samsonshittu01 This is more about translation and the understanding of the translators of that Bible version.

@Ralphn003@Primus_Ng@FinPlanKaluAja1@daleko Ah, that's too much. The average landing cost of a 45-ton truck of rice to daleko is 69,500 ( for distributors). the highest they can add to their margin for sells is 2k, so your friend's wife buying rice at 87k at daleko is overboard, whether local or foreign rice.
