On 11.06.2026, Dr. J. D. Pati sir, RCCF, Koraput Circle, visited Malkangiri Division for the Annual Inspection of the Division. During the visit, Sir reviewed the progress of various ongoing work and had a detailed discussion with the Division Office staff regarding the status of works,  achievements, pendency and maintenance of records. He emphasized timely completion of all assigned activities and proper documentation for effective monitoring and evaluation.

Subsequently, RCCF sir inspected Bandhaguda Nursery under Malkangiri Range in the presence of the DFO, Malkangiri, ACFs, and field staff. Sir reviewed the nursery operations, quality of planting stock, maintenance practices, and infrastructure available at the nursery. During the inspection, he instructed the staff to maintain all nursery records and documentation properly, undertake renovation of existing infrastructure wherever required, and install directional and informative signboards of nursery within the premises and at important road junctions for greater public awareness and publicity.

ଆଗାମୀ ବର୍ଷା ଋତୁକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ବର୍ଷା ଜଳ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ଓ ଭୂତଳ ଜଳସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ନିମନ୍ତେ କାମ୍ପା ପାଣ୍ଠି ସହାୟତାରେ ଜଳାଶୟର ପୁନରୁଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଜାରି ରହିଛି। ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଘୁମୁସୁର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ବନଖଣ୍ଡ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ବଡ଼ଗଡ଼ ରେଞ୍ଜର ଗଡ଼ଗଡ଼ ସୀମାଙ୍କିତ ସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ଜଙ୍ଗଲଠାରେ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସଫଳତାର ସହ ଶେଷ ହୋଇଛି।

ଏହା ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ଜଳସଙ୍କଟ ଦୂର କରିବା ସହ ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପାନୀୟ ଜଳର ସୁବିଧା ଯୋଗାଇବ। ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ସମ୍ପଦର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ଜଳ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ଦିଗରେ କାମ୍ପା ଓଡ଼ିଶା ନିରନ୍ତର ଭାବେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଆସୁଛି।

ଏହି ଫାୟାରଲାଇନ ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ନିଆଁ ବ୍ୟାପିବାକୁ ରୋକିବା ସହ ଜଙ୍ଗଲଜାତ ସମ୍ପଦ ତଥା ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବ। ଆମ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ, ଆମ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି—ଏହାକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ରଖିବା ଆମ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ।

Inspection of the proposed sandalwood plantation site at RSC-18, Gunthawada Section of Chitrakonda Range, was carried out by the DFO, Malkangiri. Innovative features such as QR code-based plantation information, informative display boards, and well-planned infrastructure have been incorporated to enhance transparency, awareness, and visitor engagement. The plantation contributes significantly to biodiversity conservation, forest restoration, and livelihood generation opportunities for local communities.
