Happy to report that two Operating Engineers sponsored bills got out of committee this week- AB 2439 (@quirk_silva ) and SB 1303 (@CASenCaballero)! Huge thanks to both authors for taking on these important issues.

SB 1303 (@CASenCaballero) which passed out of Senate Labor Committee with a 4-1 vote, would seek to protect high road union contractors and their employee's by establishing statutory guidance for the use of private "for-profit labor compliance groups" by awarding agencies.
