On May 5, 2023 the Department of Emergency Management (DEM) used funding allocated by the Board of Supervisors for the stakeholder designed Compassionate Alternative Response Team and instead awarded funding to Urban Alchemy for a program called Community Response Team (CRT).
@LWVSF@CART_SF It's been two years and CART has yet to be funded or implemented. Ask the Mayor and Board of Supervisors to fully fund this effective solution.
