Gavin Newsom Wants $20 Million to Honor Himself on His Way Out.

Gas is $6. California has a structural deficit. Newsom quietly tucked $20 million into his final budget to honor living former governors including himself once he leaves in January. His own Democrats called it absurd. He already has a bronze bust of himself in San Francisco City Hall. Apparently that is not enough. #FixCalifornia

Well, today, the California High-Speed Rail Authority Board of Directors is scheduled to vote on the 2026 business plan. We don’t need a vote. We need to pull the plug on this costly government project.
