Inspired by others I am joining in & reading a research paper a day. Day 1) Figura, M. G., et al. (2014). Seizures and EEG pattern in the 22q13. 3 deletion syndrome: clinical report of six Italian cases. Seizure, 23(9), 774-779.
@Victoria_Rixon If I wanted to but a Bible I’d probably start in a book shop, rather than a charity shop. Why would you look in a charity shop for a specific random item?
@jamesbolge73@flyersforever61@DunlaingRob@alx Are you saying politicians are above the law? Honestly I know MAGA has a poor understanding of what democracy actually is but outside Trump-land it is normal to go to prison for embezzlement. Try to read/listen to international news for a non-Fox perspective.
@hmastercylinder @astraiaintel I just read out: ‘Trump is the world’s best negotiator’ to my parents & we all laughed loudly for a very long time. This thread is comedy gold.
@holly__heart @SheldonMiller@ProudAFAmerican You’ll be fine. I had the same fear about visiting Europe post Brexit from the UK. But it was fine. Most people understand not everyone is a MAGA crazy. They might ask you about it out of interest.
@MartianOrthodox@DrStrangetwit@HowardMortman The first Act of Union was passed in 1707 followed by further inclusions/exclusions in 1801 & 1927. Which version of the ‘yookay’ do you not like? It’s not recent in any form.
@TMLutas@stormie_days@RasmusJarlov Educate yourself. Google ‘checks and balances democracy’. Read about international examples rather than just the US. Many simple YouTube videos as well. Lots of recent UK examples as the Trump-Lite buffoon Johnson thought it didn’t apply to him either.
@TMLutas@stormie_days@RasmusJarlov You need to read about checks and balances & how they protect democracy. They are an essential part of all modern democracies.
@Anniedroid_@JessiieLynn90 Or someone having learning disabilities. A DNR was offered much faster than the blood tests I had been seeking for my 24 year old learning disabled son for 5 years. After complaints we eventually got the blood tests which showed low vitamin D levels from medication.
