@zilevandamme BTW I'm all for fathers getting more paternity leave, I just don't think this is the way to do it. The father's additional time should not come at the expense of the mother's.
@zilevandamme I find this interesting. Is there equality in birth and recovery after birth? Isn't part of maternity leave for the woman to recover, whether C-section or natural. Is the father also going to breastfeed?
It's about fiscal sustainability... Understanding the dynamics of fiscal space is crucial for evaluating South Africa’s policy options in the current context.https://t.co/RxqbiGDgnh
@mbalis_bakery Exactly the same thing happened to my mom recently, also MTN. 3 additional contracts/numbers on her account. When asked that they show me where she signed....crickets from MTN!

While NGO's caring for elderly, children and HIV patients face severe budget cuts and experts warn of a looming tragedy similar to #LifeEsidimeni, this is happening: R114-million paid to a beauty academy + former shelf company, Daracorp. Well done @Lesufi and @GautengProvince!

Just thought this was another moment to remember Mandy Russouw, who, together with colleague @ChrisRoper, first exposed the Nkandla scandal. Principled, tenacious journalism matters! Rest in Peace Mandy. 11 years after your death, your pen is STILL mightier than the sword.
Unhealed trauma results in leaders who refuse to admit mistakes, act in narrow self-interest or humiliate their staff.

@nickhedley Theoretically yes....I don't think I've seen a drop in price of sanitary towels....consumers very rarely see the benefit of VAT exemptions....
@Lesufi your new "crime prevention" officers will have little impact on crime prevention if you deprioritise spending on social welfare services and especially evidence based crime prevention programmes.

In the long run SA’s failed public education system is a much bigger crisis than Eskom.

Glad to see that @CDEsouthafrica is reminding SA of the corruption crisis in SA education. Not a single one of the 2016 Volmink Commission's recommendations in their 'Jobs-for-Cash' report have been implemented. Not a single prosecution. https://t.co/KOVtBkaKcd
