@YoungMindsUK Trust your gut instinct. If you think things are going to spiral, but services or peers are saying ‘it’s not that bad, look on the bright side’ ignore them. Your inner voice is telling you to trust your instincts about your child or your MH escalation. Speak up, access support.

You couldn't make it up!
We doubt there is any other LA in the land where opposition councillors are so dedicated to keeping SEND in the spotlight. What a shame that the leading party position the support and dedication of these councillors as 'political point scoring.'
Who thinks the mainstream Schools for the Future plan should be HALTED until every SEND child has a school place? It's pure discrimination.
- Every mainstream child in Central Beds has a school place.
- Many SEND children don't.
Councils in England report 34% rise in elective home ed. Hidden thousands not ‘electively’ at home but awaiting alternative provision due to unlawful LA policies/off rolling/lack of SEN placements. Our kids have been broken by those who should protect them https://t.co/VMBMTiAb3i
It's 105 weeks (over 2 years) since Ofsted inspected CBC's SEND services. Use one word in the comments to tell us whether the service you receive has changed since then: BETTER, SAME or WORSE?
