🔎 FULL-CARGO SWEEP 🔎
@CBPgov officers at Port Everglades tore into a high-risk container packed with machinery, auto parts, and health & beauty products.

Every machine was opened or x-rayed, a K-9 checked the load, and even the beauty products were sampled and tested. This kind of full-scope inspection keeps contraband out and our supply chain clean.

Career Criminal Arrested!
Marathon Station agents recently arrested a Mexican criminal alien with prior U.S. arrests for DUI, domestic violence, cocaine possession, and assault. If that wasn’t enough, he’s been deported from the U.S. NINE TIMES! We are going to make it an EVEN 10! Miami Sector is unwavering in our mission to safeguard our nation and protect our Florida communities.

🛠️ 10 CENTERS, ONE NATIONWIDE MISSION
CBP’s 10 Centers of Excellence and Expertise (CEEs) may be headquartered in cities like Miami, home to the Agriculture & Prepared Products Center, but their influence spans the entire nation.

Each Center brings deep, industry-specific trade expertise and deploys specialists across the U.S. to support uniform enforcement, streamline legitimate trade, and protect American economic interests.

No matter the port, no matter the product, CBP’s trade experts are there to ensure consistency, compliance, and security across every corner of the supply chain.

Shoutout to our Miami & Ft Lauderdale Marine Units! Working alongside USCG, HSI, and OFO, they ripped 3,715 lbs of illegal narcotics off South Florida waters this week. Seamless teamwork = another massive win for the good guys. Proud of this crew! 🇺🇸💪

Last week, while most Americans were enjoying their Thanksgiving feast, Miami Sector agents remained vigilant and dedicated to our national security mission. During the Thanksgiving week, enforcement actions led to the arrest of over 180 illegal aliens that posed a threat to public safety in our local communities.

Thank you to our agents for their unwavering commitment in protecting our borders and ensuring the security of the American people, even during the holidays.

The lies, smears, and hoaxes from the FAKE NEWS are designed to demonize our brave men and women of federal law enforcement.

Watch as DHS debunks their lies and sets the record straight:

✈️OUTBOUND & ON POINT✈️
At Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, CBP officers combined biometric exit checks with outbound inspections, matching each traveler to their travel documents while searching for undeclared currency, narcotics, and other contraband before it could reach another country.

By pairing advanced facial recognition with thorough inspections, officers ensured both travelers and shipments were verified, and any hidden threats were stopped in their tracks.

🛑MEGA COUNTERFEIT HAUL STOPPED🛑
Miami CBP officers seized 349 counterfeit Rolex and Cartier watches and Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga products.

With an estimated retail value of more than $377,000, these fakes were stopped before they could reach unsuspecting consumers and fund transnational organized crime. CBP protects consumers and legitimate businesses by keeping dangerous knockoffs out of the market and safeguarding the U.S. economy.

Attention, human traffickers: your days of hiding in our communities are numbered!

Our Marathon Station agents in partnership with Monroe County Sheriff's deputies, successfully TRACKED DOWN, ARRESTED, and PROSECUTED a Jamaican national who was trafficking criminal aliens into our country.
Game, set, match!

🚨 WARRANT INTERCEPTED 🚨
When you skip your court date, CBP might just be waiting to greet you. Officers at Port Canaveral intercepted a traveler with an active warrant for Failure to Appear on Larceny charges and turned the subject over to @BrevardSheriff.

This is interagency teamwork at its finest!

Keeping our community safe - on and off the road!

Yesterday, in Marathon, FL our agents didn't hesitate to act when they saw a vehicle run off the road. They stopped, provided medical assistance, and stayed until help arrived.

Moments like these show our mission goes beyond enforcement - it's about protecting and caring for the people in our community.

❄️ REFRIG-U-LATOR❄️
CBP Officers at Port Everglades, along with the EPA, denied entry to a shipment of refrigerators that violated the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act. This law is designed to phase down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) greenhouse gases.

By enforcing these critical environmental protections, CBP and EPA ensure that products entering the U.S. comply with the law, protect our environment, and safeguard public health.

🚬 FROM CIGARS TO BONES?! 💀
What started as a passenger declaring just 10 cigars at @FlyTPA turned bizarre. CBP Agriculture Specialists uncovered prohibited plants, undeclared cigars, and a foil-wrapped duffel bag containing what looked like human remains, including part of a skull.

The traveler claimed the items were for rituals, but due to serious health risks, the items were seized and destroyed. At @CBP, we never know what baggage may hold, but smugglers should know we’ll always have a bone to pick.

[CBP @CBP]

Today we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Born out of 9/11, CBP was built to protect America. 24 years later, our 67,000 employees remain on watch day and night, securing our land, air, and sea borders to stop terrorists from threatening our nation again.

[Director of Field Operations @DFOFlorida]

🚭BIG FAKE... HUGE BUST🚭
CBP officers in Miami refused a shipment of more than 7,150 counterfeit cigarettes packed into over 715 boxes with an estimated street value of $600,000. The shipment was aimed at flooding the market with dangerous knockoffs that pose serious health risks to the American public.

Counterfeit cigarettes rob legitimate businesses of revenue, endanger the public, and funnel money into criminal networks. By refusing this shipment, CBP safeguarded the public, protected U.S. commerce, and sent a clear message that counterfeit goods will not be tolerated.

⏰ VISA VIOLATION STOPPED BY CBP ⏰
@CBP Officers at @FLLairport recently stopped a traveler attempting to work in the United States without the proper visa. U.S. visas are issued for specific purposes:
• Tourist (B-2) – visiting, not for work or study
• Student (F-1/M-1) – for attending school, not for employment unless authorized
• Work (H, L, O, etc.) – for approved employment with a sponsoring employer

Violating them can mean denial of entry, removal, and bans on reentry. Always travel with the correct visa.

⚓ ALL EYES ON DECK👀 ⚓
When @CBP boards a vessel, every angle is covered. Agriculture Specialists focus on hidden biosecurity risks that could harm our ecosystems and food supply. Enforcement officers concentrate on security threats and contraband.

From invasive pests to prohibited cargo, we thoroughly inspect arriving vessels. One team with many missions, protecting America starts at the pier.
