Thought a lot about this, and very interested to see how it all works.
The concerns I have is around how unstable .world files can be. Game corruption is very easy after editing .world files, and my worries lie in this being released to a public that don’t know about the files.
@Chofis_Ok Mods that edit .world files (Like ones I have made) need to be re-added to the files after every game update. Unsure why .world files get replaced with every update
@ts4_caw I’ve corrupted close to a hundered saves at this point while playing around with lot sizes. I suppose that’d be done to user error if people choose to use this
@ts4_caw Oh wow that’s very interesting. If you need any help with word modding please do hit me up. My knowledge on it isn’t as big as some but very happy to help!
STOP USING LEUAN’S TOOLKIT
i’ve seen tooooo many people recommend it in comments and on forums lately. It is unsafe and has the capability to steal passwords and information without detection from your anti-virus
A good explainer:

@wildflowersims I started creating mods after AI took off. I haven’t had to use it to learn how to do what I do. I talk to other creators, i figure things out in my own. It’s part of the fun of modding and learning new skills
Not even alleged. Codex (by OpenAI) is used to create both their mods and Blender plugins, by their own admission at that.
If you're looking for dynamic CAS mods made by human hands, I'd suggest looking at Simmattically and Simsiboy's alternatives
@wildflowersims I was bringing awareness to the fact they were using AI, and highlighting the risks that come with having it in your game. As we have seen with the Sims 3 graphics mod today, it’s not really worth the risk.
@wildflowersims I am not demonising them; players should be aware of their mods. Yes, mods cause corruption, but most modders know the fix, as they made it themselves.
@wildflowersims Incredibly hard to maintain, and the modder most likely will not know what is what when it comes to fixing issues later down the line. There's a reason modding comms channels aren't supporting it.
