A key metric for tech startups is AI token throughput. Capped by either the amount of tokens you can manage (# of people with technical expertise) or the amount of tokens you can buy (capitalization).
@catswilleatyou No. Innovations have been a net positive, and there’s no stopping, only slowing at best. I’d rather interesting things happen while I’m here.
@ercwl@BitcoinRothbard $100 at 11.5% return is a decent guess, but all of it arbitrary. The market decides on the risk/return requirement daily from here on.
@ercwl@BitcoinRothbard I think we’ll see it exceed $100 as BTC price gives it the guarantees it needs. But also, it should stop being communicated as something MSTR wants to hold at $100. Just let the market decide its value and focus on healthy reserves relative to downside volatility
Best rational post on STRC I’ve seen. Also, Mr. Market moves daily. The return today != market’s demand for return tomorrow, and is dependent on the underlying treasury value. 11.5% is MSTR’s determined rate to buy Bitcoin with $. A higher rate demanded by the market means no more $ will be accumulated for Bitcoin. A lower rate gives room for more accumulation. Simple as that. The preferred structure looks out for the common who expects the reserve to not be force liquidated.
@laurashin Are you a crypto journalist or financial advisor with expertise on corporate capital structure?
This smells a lot like “defi” security researchers who know how to regurgitate actual experts to a degree they think they are one.
…another day with crypto people smh
@laurashin Between your streams with faux defi “security researchers” and interviews with someone who thinks STRC is supposed to be a peg, you really know how to build fictional narratives for X.
@brian_armstrong “WE dO bLOcKchAIn” 😂😂 this is one of the most reprehensible interviews I’ve ever seen someone in the ivory tower do. Looks desperate and talks like an idiot. Time to retire “bank guy or whoever you are”
@tayvano_@laurashin Ah yes.. the expected Tay rant lol. Say what you want, truth is immutable. Tell your homey Luca I am in my lane, that’s why yall have a problem.
@laurashin@tayvano_ Bitcoin is DeFi, Ethereum is DeFi, don’t pretend to he experts on DeFi.. it’s an insult to those who are doing the hard research on secure decentralized networks. You’re software engineers encoding yourselves as council under the guise of deep tech experts.
@jacqmelinek Bitcoin is decentralized, but also wasn’t “backed.” The problem is the power and control funders and their funded teams need to make their money. The tech exists to make it black and white.
@thsottiaux Maybe get deployment context in there as a first class citizen. If I have a bunch of services tied to the same VPC, I shouldn’t have to put deployment context in each individual repo and work to achieve consistency.
