@nbc4i As long as the change is reasonable, why not? As soon as I turned 16, I closed at McDonalds did overnight maintenance on weekends and kept up my grades. It was nice to have a few bucks and help out mom and dad.

Mapping flood risk across our country is one of the best ways to protect our houses, businesses, and communities from flooding – so we can prevent expensive and destructive disasters before they happen. @CBerginnis
@EasyE2432 As a Buckeye alum, just want to say congrats on a great season! So sad you have to deal with the buttheads on social media esp the tweets you posted.
@FloodsOrg@fema@joelscataNRDC “Updating national standards will help communities be better prepared to handle the floods of today and better anticipate the flood risks of tomorrow — and in doing so, save lives, protect property from the impacts of climate change, and reduce disaster costs.”—@CBerginnis
@SecBernhardt Consequential yes, esp to those poor and disadvantaged communities whose voice will be further diminished! Great way to put the taxpayer on the hook for short term thinking because guess who pays for damage to most infrastructure affected by climate change? You and me!
Okay, so we came in third place in the #ASFPM2020 virtual trivia night, but it was so much fun! There is another round scheduled tomorrow after the conference sessions, be there!
Remember that as part of #ASFPM2020 we have trivia starting in about 20 minutes, go on the platform under Social Events to sign up. Limited to the first 300 registrants. We are trying all kinds of new things today!
#ASFPM2020 has a great exhibit hall loaded with resources. Was just looking at FEMA's Floodplain Management Division and found a new You Tube video on floodplain management. Loving that!
@allyrx7 @FloodsOrg And at #asfpm2020 you get to see the sessions you missed because there were two good presentations happening at the same time. All without having to have a time turner (Harry Potter fans?)
Each year ASFPM puts on the nation’s largest conference dedicated to all aspects of #flooding and #floodplain management. This year is no different – except we’re going virtual.
Join us online (live and on-demand) for three days of learning. #ASFPM2020

Good data and decision making tools will be critical for coastal communities striving to be resilient in the face of accelerating sea level rise and climate change.
The Digital Coast Act (part of H.R. 729) will help coastal communities increase resilience against storms by centralizing data and enhancing planning and management. Thank you, House members, for advancing this important bill.
