@TaliesinEvitel It's crazy that this is a cutscene where the Haranir reveal they are all one family, and the immediate result is most of the people involved going "no that's bullshit, I still hate the trolls/elves" and arguing with eachother. And people complain that it's too peaceful?

@ElissabethHaser They only say that the Haranir share a common ancestor with the Trolls and Elves, IE, all three of them branched off from the same primordial race. This is fully plausible without changing any existing lore, unless we're pretending Trolls just sprung into existence out of nowhere

@AVFCJono @quinnthegm I hate this narrative. GoT had two full books of content they could have adapted still, they just willingly chose not to adapt AFFC and ADWD. And they started irrepairably diverging from the books long before that point too. D&D never wanted to adapt the books faithfully
