~1 billion pounds of pumpkin are tossed out each halloween season. These rotting pumpkins release methane into the atmosphere as they decompose so instead of throwing away your pumpkin, reuse it! Roast the seeds or make some pumpkin pie, you can even donate it to local farmers.🎃

Mid Oct and Seattle area is still suffering from horrible #FossilFueledClimateChange exacerbated smoke. Leaders please inform the public so folx stay safer in this smoke: n-95 masks, HEPA filters, don’t exercise outdoors, build/use box fan filters (like this one in my classroom)
