South Africa house in London this morning for the general election. I thought that I would go down quickly in the morning and vote easily. I realised my vote - like my country - is going to take time and work. 😉😁
There are some people who will purposely doubt your every move no matter how well intended. Leave them be. Stop over-explaining. If they’re bent on misunderstanding you, they will do so no matter what you say. Don’t fret. The Almighty knows your heart. That’s all that matters.
Let go of the disappointments, let go of what didn’t work out, let go of negativity, let go of yesterday’s baggage, let go of the hurt because of what someone said to you. Get your mind going in the right direction. Seek guidance from the Almighty. Let peace reign in your heart.
We have no qualms about spending hours on social media, yet when it comes to time with the Almighty, we’re stingy. We forget that He’s the Owner of time & it’s one of His most dignified favours. If He doesn’t will it, nothing can be done. So use time wisely before it’s too late.
There’s a reason why the Almighty is making us wait. It’s never to make it hard on us but to develop our character. Remember, patience doesn’t happen overnight. It needs to be nurtured. It takes time. So have a good attitude while you wait. He has promised great rewards!
This is life in a nutshell. Do good and people will talk. Do bad and people will talk. So let them talk. Live your life the best way possible. Life’s really too short to be worrying about people who are jealous of you and will talk behind your back.
Tonight, for the second time in two days, a Muslim charity brought a loaf of bread and milk to our door. But they brought so much more. They restored our faith in humanity. May Allah bless you always. Shukran
The Muslim community in Durban and the rest of SA has been absolutely INCREDIBLE. There is always so much negativity around Muslim people, I want it to be known that they have stepped up in the biggest way! Distributing free bread and milk to anyone in need. Thank you!
When people reveal their true colors, take note. The Almighty allowed it to happen for a reason. If they have been putting up a false front, now you know truth. Don’t let them convince you otherwise. Deal with it in the best possible manner. Be firm but polite & take your leave.

If you want to mend relationships that have soured over the years and you find the other party not forthcoming, don’t despair. You’ve done your part. Keep asking the Almighty to soften hearts. It will happen sooner or later if He wills.
What a judgemental society we live in! People will form their own conclusions of you based on a tweet or a Facebook status. They judge your appearance, accent, the way you dress etc. Just because you’re different from them, they look down on you. Stand your ground. Be polite!
Never say you've nothing to offer someone who's down & needs help. A listening ear, a word of encouragement, kindness or even a smile can lift the person out of his doldrums. Be generous with whatever the Almighty has given you because it will all come back to you one day!
