I received my endowment today, and wow. That, I think, is the closest I have ever felt to my Heavenly Father.
God lives. This is His gospel. It’s glorious.
@GLeanne38083@FridgeGames101@secularprolife@JezziiB No, these are not the same. If someone needs an organ donor, they are already dying naturally. It’s great to help them, but refusing to do so is just allowing the natural process to play out.
Abortion is actively killing a human by starving, burning or ripping them apart.
Everyone likes to think they would have helped hide Jews in their basement in Nazi Germany.
Or that they would have been part of the underground railroad and freed people from Slavery.
Or that they would have been marching with Martin Luther King.
But the truth is, most people would not have been. Most people just do what the majority are doing.
90% of people abort when they get a Down Syndrome diagnosis? Can't be that bad.
It is though. It is eugenics. Even if everyone is doing it, it is wrong.
@hvworlton When he gave me the grade, he left a note that he docked points “for suspected AI use,” but then when I emailed him for an explanation he said I wasn’t docked points for it. It was so frustrating.
@hvworlton A professor accused me of using AI because my essay was “better written than we expect at this level” and I used a couple em dashes. I was a senior (the class was mostly freshmen), a journalism major and wrote professionally for my job, so of course I knew how to write well.
@LargeInStature_ My heart aches for her. She can’t do anything without being criticized for it.
It’s so infuriating to see people mock her when she is clearly traumatized.
If she believed in bridge building she wouldn’t have lied about Kirk two days after he was shot to death.
Yes, McMahon.
You lied.
You claimed the quotes were “in context” when they very much were not.
@For3JT@VVenerabilis@VoteTrevorLee Also, having just finished my degree in journalism, one of our assignments was learning how to access public information as we pursue stories.
It’s totally valid to not want your information out there. I’m only pointing out that most of this information already is public.
@For3JT@VVenerabilis@VoteTrevorLee A lot of this information already is public. When political canvassers knock on your door, they can see the full names and age ranges of voters in the home, as well as which primary and general elections you’ve voted in (but they can’t see how you voted in general elections).

@For3JT@Manhattva So awesome. Rome is fantastic. We got to visit several other places in Southern Italy and Malta that my brother served in - I can’t wait to go back! Lots of special memories there.
We did baptisms at the Rome temple. Such a special experience and a beautiful temple!!
@SethDillon “Absolute truth is not dependent upon public opinion or popularity. Polls cannot sway it. … Just because something … is frequently repeated, or has a powerful group of followers doesn’t make it true.”
