I was asked yesterday about championship teams. It’s been my experience on championship teams your most talented players are tough mentally and physically! Coach them hard and play them a lot! If they are not you may get misled! In a championship run times get TOUGH!

Being "nice" is hurting your leadership -

Nice leaders want to be liked.

Kind leaders build trust

Choose the harder path.

Be kind.

Remember that coach who would tell you the truth even if it felt harsh? Yea, more than likely you are a better person today because of that tough coach. Learn to receive feedback and you will grow because of it.

Congrats to Lexi Patterson, Mary Claire Salley and Presley Scarbrough for making SDN’s All Area Top 10.

Congrats to Simmons Brooks, Jalia James, Abby Newlin and Maddie Sanders for making best of the rest.

“You can’t just say we’re going to believe and not put the work in. That’s the most important thing is that there is a belief but the belief comes from the work you put in. Do all the little things right and starting back from the ground up,” Dan Campbell
