@JAPSTheHedgehog My paycheck...I just hand it over to my local hobby store every month. *sigh*

This all-in-one elemental Super Robot bears the power of heaven itself! The Moderoid Great Zeorymer has a pretty hefty presence amongst its Super Robot brethren. I really dig the J-Kaiser cannon attachment :)

G-Frame kits make for involving desktop displays. Just a couple of pre-painted parts already cut off the runners, but the resulting kit is pretty solid and VERY poseable. Just a little touch-up paint & panel lining will make them perfect. Of course, I had to choose the Strike :)

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

Huh...so it turns out that MOE POWER is a viable energy source.

While I'm generally not the biggest fan of Aoshima's snapfit kits, the MECHAGODZILLA MFS-3 KIRYU (Tokyo SOS Ver.) changed my mind pretty quick! The build was satisfying and the result is a fairly solid kit. The dull bone silver is screaming for a quality paintjob, though.

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

So happy to be building a Frame Arms kit again - the new SHINGEN is downright amazing! Designed by THE Kunio Okawara, the articulation and detail make a pointed statement about this badass Bushido warrior :D

I like Kotobukiya's WONDER WOMAN Character Plamodel's interpretation of the modern superheroine's design, and the kit itself is probably the most solid-feeling I've seen as far as FA Girl engineering goes. She can hold poses with strength & grace🙂

What a powerful nostalgia trip! I used to watch Choudenji Bioman way back in the day, and this excellent Super Mini Pla kit just makes the classic BIOROBO way cooler than I remember. I look at the articulation on this guy and I wonder, why can't all SMP kits be like this?

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

Finally got off my ass and posted something! This kit inspired me to do a Work-In-Progress build series of posts. There's a lot to literally unpack here - check out the full pictorial on my FB page: https://t.co/MveesW3YAN

@WengKeongLau1 It's mainly the shoulders, and the design of the torso itself - when the cockpit is opened, all the weight up top suddenly shifts backwards.

The MSG ULTIMATE GUARDIAN is complete! This is a combination of the MSG Gigantic Arms Order Cradle, 2 MSG Orbital Maneuvers, 2 MSG Strike Serpents, and 2 MSG Overed Manipulator hands.

@Latettparty Fortunately, if you do see them in person, the boxes are labeled/numbered so you know which component you're getting, as opposed to blind boxes.

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

It's about time I built one of my beloved Super Robot kits - DANCOUGAR! This Super Mini Pla kit is pretty cool, though it's got a lot of part-swapping to get all Beast Machines into their various modes, the end result is a solid, badass kit!

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

@Latettparty Ah, that's why it's best if you can buy them all off of places like HLJ or Amiami. If you find a vendor that sells the entire boxed set, you'll have all the components, as opposed to buying them in a shop that sells the boxes individually.

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

@Latettparty What's cool about this line is, majority of the mecha are combiners, (or mecha with minor combining components) with very few exceptions like the Getters, Votoms, Galient, and Giant Gorg.

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

@Latettparty It varies, depending on the kit. They aren't set to any particular scale. The average is about...maybe 10-12cm tall, I think? They're on the smaller side. The larger combiners like Dancouga, Zambot-3 and Golion(Voltron) are about 16-16.5cm tall, and Baikanfu is about 18cm tall.

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

@Latettparty Definitely check out Hobbylink Japan or Amiami. Make sure to preorder what you want as soon as you see it, though! Some get re-issues, but depending on the kit, it may be uncommon.

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

@Latettparty And they're often made entirely out of ABS plastic, and don't have the same quality as Bandai's usual injection-molded kits. They do have pretty impressive engineering, some pre-painted parts, and feature lots of mecha in model kit form that you won't find in any other line.

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

@Latettparty And Super Mini Pla kits aren't as mass-produced as other Bandai kits - in fact, they often sell out on pre-orders. They can also be rather expensive and are hard to find shortly after they come out, depending on the kit. And many of them can be exclusives.

[CKai Cydek @CCydek]

I had more fun building the HGBD:R WODOM POD that I thought I would - I love that another one of Syd Mead's mecha that was designed for the Turn A Gundam series was given a HG quality kit, but for the actual kit to be such a solid and relaxing build was icing on the cake :)
