💧 WATER BILLS UP 43% IN THREE YEARS. YET ALMOST ONE IN FIVE LITRES IS LOST THROUGH LEAKS!

The average household water and sewerage bill in England and Wales has jumped from £448 to £639 a year since 2023/24.

That's an extra £191 a year coming out of household budgets.

Meanwhile, new Environment Agency figures reveal that water companies in England are losing a staggering 2.62 BILLION litres of treated water EVERY SINGLE DAY through leaks.

That's 18.6% of the water entering their networks.

And some companies are losing even more:

🚰 Thames Water — 22.4%

🚰 Wessex Water — 22.1%

🚰 United Utilities — 21.1%

Yet households face rising bills, hosepipe bans during shortages and constant reminders to conserve water.

Of course, ageing infrastructure needs investment. But surely customers paying 43% more than three years ago are entitled to expect better?

Just look at what's happened over the last five years:

🔴 Domestic energy: +65%
🔴 Food prices: +38%
🔴 Average private rents: +35%
🔴 Transport: +21%

Meanwhile, average earnings have risen just 29.5%, BEFORE TAX.

And another energy bill increase could be coming in January.

Successive governments have a lot to answer for.

The gov recommend that over 50s do not exceed 200 mcg of folic acid per day.

They are mandating 250 mcg per 100g of flour in ALL non-wholemeal flour including organic and imported flour.

Folic acid is not a vitamin and not a natural folate.

The efficacy claims might be true for high risk women but the evidence base is not there for ordinary women.

There has never been a safety trial yet the safety signals have mounted up.

This is unbelievable. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has offered his solution to rising petrol and gas prices by giving advice to use Google maps to find the cheapest petrol stations. Cutting fuel duty might be a bit more helpful to millions of cash strapped motorists.
