What binds us is more than a job. It is a common purpose: to maintain the security of Australia through professional expertise, significant personal sacrifice and devotion to duty.

I am immensely proud to be a member of #yourADF.

Today is #RUOKDay and #WorldSuicidePreventionDay.

This morning, I was proud to join Defence personnel, veterans and the broader community at the @BraveryTrust Bravery Trek in Canberra.

The trek was a powerful reminder that looking after our people is a shared responsibility.

[Admiral Mark Hammond @CDF_Aust]

@BraveryTrust Throughout my career, I’ve seen how mateship, connection and a simple conversation can make a difference when someone is doing it tough.

Our people are Defence's greatest asset, and looking out for each other is one of our greatest strengths.

Congrats former Singaporean Defence Minister Dr Ng Eng Hen who was appointed an Honorary Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for his contribution to the 🇦🇺🇸🇬 relationship. A proud, full circle moment, as Dr Ng invested me with 🇸🇬 Meritorious Service Medal 2 years ago 👇
