@jsebean Hi there!
You can use our client portal (https://t.co/xj2bPpzizt) to test latency. We peer through multiple local and regional upstream providers that have connectivity to Eastlink and Bell.
The virtual networking issue in the NS region, and some of our DNS services, has been resolved and is now recovering. Further updates will be on the status page.
@ConnectGrid Apologies for the delayed response. We always recommend reaching out to our support team via [email protected] for immediate assistance. Let us know if you still require any help!
@DownAtTheDO Hi @DownAtTheDO,
We have received your ticket and our accounting department will be getting back to you. I've had our support team look at our outbound messages, and it appears as though an email was sent to you. Have you checked your spam folder?
@DownAtTheDO Hi @DownAtTheDO,
It looks like there was an issue in a routing database which prevented them from advertising our route to some upstream providers. We're working with them to get this resolved. Routes should be propagating shortly.
@DownAtTheDO Hi @DownAtTheDO,
We are still waiting to hear back from the provider in question. Our other provider is actually back up now (the one who was under maintenance). We will be posting an update to Twitter as soon as we hear back from them.
@DownAtTheDO Hi @DownAtTheDO,
Yes it was pre-planned. It should be over at or before 4AM PT. However, we are counting on our other peer having their issue resolved much sooner than that.
We are currently experiencing an issue in our ca-bc-1 region. There are some routing issues occurring with a major upstream peer in Vancouver. We are hoping they will be able to resolve this shortly.
@DownAtTheDO Hi @DownAtTheDO,
Definitely a fair point. We had the status page hosted elsewhere until recently, both geographically separate and by another entity. We will certainly be selecting somewhere to migrate it to shortly.
Blockchain and cryptocurrency companies may have received a "tepid response" from Canadian regulators, and the Blockchain Technology Coalition of Canada aims to change that. https://t.co/rdPMpvQGrB
