@_francislavoie @usefathom @JackEllis It's unclear what you're talking about exactly.... macOS? Apple used to charge for the operating system, so allowing a customer to run that on their own hardware would be worthy of an argument, but macOS is *free* now, built into Macs, not separate.

@_francislavoie @usefathom @JackEllis Lightning is a great connector. Other browsers are permitted, but must use Webkit, which most other browsers are cousins of anyway, so no loss. no GateKeeping = Android nightmare. Macs run all software, directly or through emulation.

@_francislavoie @usefathom @JackEllis Do you use any Apple products or services? That's a genuine question. In 25 years, I've had far more peace of mind and productivity using Apple than I have with any other platform, and I use them all. That means something.
