@LucasHi78245474@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 @Ststansberry Hi Lucas, I completely agree with you. I had trouble choosing just one tool, because so many have been implemented that I would have wanted all of them. I honestly feel that it would have helped me be a better student back in the day.
@mumofdeux@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 @doctor2pi Hi Elle! I didn’t even think of this but yes I cant agree with you more. Having recorded lessons would have helped me so much to not get behind when I was sick or when I also had games.
@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 A4) If I had to choose one technological tool, I would honestly choose the use of YouTube. I am a visual learner so I think having videos at the end or throughout the lesson further reinforces what is being taught #csubedte4200#csubted@Ststansberry
@VfloresEDTE4200@Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB@tom_karnes Hey Veronica, I completely agree with your idea of having students play games in order to learn is a great way to keep kids engaged and entertained. Not only are they learning but they are having fun while doing so.
@gguerrero0305@Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB@Duncannedd I have used Epic before and I have noticed that many ELL students are more engaged when they use these types of programs vs trying to read their books silently to themselves. There is a tremendous difference.
@Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB A3) Google translate is a great form of technology for ELL students. It facilitates their comprehension and pronunciation. This is possible because of the technology students have access to in their classrooms. #csubted#csubedte4200@Ststansberry
@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns A2) Teaching during Covid was a challenge for many educators like myself, because not only did we have to learn how to use programs like canvas. We also had to be proficient enough to teach the students and parents how to navigate the program #csubted#csubedte4200@Ststansberry
@yoceline7 @doctor2pi@Duncannedd Hey there Yoceline, i have heard many positive things about Pear deck, but i have never really actually tried it. I appreciate you sharing this with the rest of us, it definitely motivated me to look into it 👍
@doctor2pi A1) I think that Gimkit is a very useful resource. It is like Kahoot, but I feel students respond better to the program. It can be use to study and as an assessment. If you have not tried it, you should look into it! #csubted#csubedte4200@Ststansberry
So far one of my favorite classes. Love getting to learn all this new technology and programs that i could later use as a teacher #csubted#csubedte4200
