Running on leading L2 @Celo and built with @googlecloud, @selfxyz and @Tether's @usat have launched the industry's very first stablecoin distribution designed solely for verified human users.

Once identity has been verified via Self's privacy-preserving infra, eligible users will gain direct access to $USAT.

It matters because, until now, stablecoin distribution has relied on wallet addresses, which remain vulnerable to bots, farming behaviour, and various other issues.
