-Our booth stayed busy from open to close.
See you next year👋
“If I can use my @nvidia stock as collateral for my credit card, why would I ever really be holding cash?”
@Vik_runa of @superformxyz on why the next generation may skip the savings account entirely. Tokenized stocks are the on-ramp.
“We’ve been the largest institutional player in DeFi… what we do differently is we do it with a qualified custodian.”
I discussed our first of-its-kind deployment with @Anchorage and how we’re setting new standards for onchain finance on @CryptoAmerica_
Onchain vaults aren’t a competitor to custody. They’re an extension of it.
@vik_runa of @superformxyz on why cold storage and onchain activity belong in the same workflow, with Porto, Anchorage's institutional self-custody wallet, as the example.

For @sharplink, who owns over $2,000,000,000 worth of ETH, they were never interested in just buying it and storing it in custody. Making it productive onchain has been a journey of industry firsts.
Anchorage Digital Bank helped secure and stake their treasury first, and then enabled a $200m deployment onchain, with public-company controls and reporting.

Two OG’s on stage at @money2020 🇺🇸
Takeaways:
◼️AI agents can't be trusted to follow the rules. So build the rules into the money.
◼️ Agents need sophisticated wallet infra, not just tokenized money.
◼️ Every wallet traces back to an owner. Identity will be required.
◼️ The hard part is the UX of trust: how we authorize and prove what an agent is allowed to do.
Company 37 of 50 in our series on the most interesting companies in Bitcoin's history: @Anchorage, the first federally chartered digital asset bank in the United States.
@diogomonica and @nathanmccauley were the security leads at Docker when they realized in 2017 that the industry's core unsolved problem was cryptographic key management, their specialty. They launched institutional custody in 2019, raised a Series B with a strategic investment from Visa, and signed clients like Polychain, Paradigm, and a16z.
The milestone came in 2021: the first federal bank charter granted by the OCC to a digital asset company, a door the whole industry had been pushing on.
A February 2026 investment from Tether valued Anchorage at $4.2B. It is institutional plumbing in the best sense, the regulated key infrastructure that lets the largest investors in the world hold the asset, and its charter marked the moment US banking regulation formally made room for Bitcoin.

“Debasement trade” undersells Bitcoin.
A trade lasts three months. Maybe six. @Dlawant, Head of Research, on why what’s actually happening is a secular trend decades in the making, and why the label is too small for it.

@Anchorage vetoed my attendance @money2020 due to a justified fear of what I am capable of at the Bachanal buffet.

Our team evaluated hundreds of liquid and equity investments that would increase our ability to compound ETH on a long-term horizon while strengthening the network overall.
Our first major onchain deployment deals were $200M on @ether_fi, and $200M on @LidoFinance, custodied by @Anchorage. These investments allow our team to put ETH to work everyday.
The GENIUS Act and OCC rules put the regulatory foundation in place. The next one to two years are the window for banks to set their position in digital assets.
Join Anchorage Digital's @sergiofly and @bcg during @money2020 to hear what the playbook says about stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and where to partner.

Bites & Brews is a wrap.
Thank you @PanteraCapital, @Anchorage and @GondorCapitalIO for co-hosting, and to everyone who turned up the night before TOKEN2049 and stayed longer than they planned to.
A lot of the best conversations were about this region. Southeast Asia has quietly become one of the densest talent pools in crypto with leading protocols coming out of here. New tech gets adopted first, and the founders are hungry in a way that’s hard to manufacture.
We’re bullish on the talent here. Exciting times ahead!
“Ditch the question mark. Ditch the new.”
@lowbeta of @Grayscale on why crypto isn’t a "new" asset class anymore, just one that should already be a normal part of a diversified portfolio.
