Today, the 13th meeting of the National Monitoring Committee (NMC) was held in New Delhi. Chaired by the Secretary of the Department of Land Resources (LR), the session focused on reviewing the progress of Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) schemes under the RFCTLARR Act of 2013.

Key projects reviewed today include:
1. The Polavaram Irrigation Project in Andhra Pradesh.
2. The Ken-Betwa River Linking Project.
