An interesting post about an oddly colored anole. Green anoles (Anolis carolinensis) were sold in almost every pet store when I was a child. They were one of the reasons I became interested in herpetology.

@VioletIrwin76 Not distrust, but I remember when I first thought the media was a joke. It was the MSM coverage of Malaysia Air Fl 370. These "professionals" were playing with toy planes on air, renting flight simulators, and postulating that perhaps a black hole sucked the plane out of the sky.

@Tessadunlop I taught English to students in China, my pupils regularly:

1. Self-censored to make sure they didn't engage in wrong-think.
2. Squirmed with unease when anyone was brave enough to speak about the horrors of the "Great Leap Forward".

@DianaWintah Same here. I also feel that liberalism (at least in the US) has shifted so far to the left, I can't recognize it any longer. I've become *slightly* more conservative over the years, but Overton window of the left has shifted so much, there's no place for me.
