Yesterday’s campaign launch has us all fired up!! Thank you to everyone from the community who showed up for this race. Thanks to our host committee and The Burrito Bar for the great vibes.
I'm grateful that the thousands of talented craftspeople of @smartlocal28 have joined the growing list of labor unions which have endorsed me in my race for reelection.
These partnerships are meaningful to me as we work to make New York a more affordable, union-friendly city.
I was honored to stand with Local 3 Queens today — the men and women who built the greatest city in the world. Together, we will rebuild it stronger: safe streets, affordable housing, good jobs, and a city that works for working people.
The working men and women of Staten Island are the backbone of New York City 🗽
I thank Local 3 IBEW Staten Island Chapter and Joe Santigate for their endorsement and support.
Together united we can change Staten Island and NYC for the better — and we will
Honored to have the endorsement of more than 29,000 men and women of @IBEW Local 3
From rebuilding LaGuardia Airport and expanding the Javits Center to advancing prevailing wage protections, we’ve fought alongside each other and delivered for decades

At 1000+ events across the country, America’s unions and allies will stand up and fight back against the Trump administration’s anti-worker agenda. #WorkersDeserve an economy that works for us, not billionaires. On Workers’ Labor Day, we’re taking it back. https://t.co/ZC7UGtFFbO
Listen up friends as I tell you about @lawler4ny
I was on News Night with Abby Phillip 2 months ago with Mike Lawler and during the commercial break he said he wouldn't support more than $500 billion in Medicaid cuts. With lots of bravado he said more than $500 billion in cuts wouldn't happen because he wouldn't support it. He said it to all of us.
Then a few short weeks later he voted for $800 billion in cuts to Medicaid.
And now he seems about to vote for $1 trillion which will devastate health care in NY and his district.
Gotta say - not a lot of honor in this guy who talks big and then caves to his cult king.
On #NationalPostalWorkerDay, we honor all who keep our nation connected. More than 640,000 postal employees—including the dedicated letter carriers of NALC—work hard every day to serve every home & business, no matter the zip code, without taxpayer dollars. Thanks for all you do!
If enacted, the BBB stands to be the biggest job-killing bill in the history of this country. Simply put, it is the equivalent of terminating more than 1,000 Keystone XL pipeline projects.

This so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” is nothing more than a billionaire’s wishlist. Rushed to the Senate floor and over 1,000 pages long, this bill is slammed full of deeply unpopular policies that take a direct aim at hard working Americans.
"At a time when we should be investing in energy independence at home, the GOP's tax bill forces our economy to rely on foreign adversaries while increasing energy bills and draining communities of the jobs they rely on." https://t.co/lGGHJ1MpRx
The last-minute changes to the Big, Ugly Bill were written to do one thing:
To kill America’s clean energy
Projects will shut down, 840K jobs will be lost, and Americans will pay hundreds more a year on electricity
All because the GOP is beholden to the fossil fuel industry
