I’ve officially accepted a position with KLST in San Angelo, Texas, as a Meteorologist/MMJ!

I’m excited to serve the Concho Valley and forecast for such a dynamic weather region. I can’t wait to get started!

That feeling is very surreal.

☀️ Hot and dry weather will dominate West Central Texas this week.

Highs will climb into the upper 90s, with parts of the Big Country topping 100° and possibly nearing 105° by midweek. A Heat Advisory may eventually be needed.

A few isolated storms are possible this evening, mainly north and west of San Angelo. Heavy rain and frequent lightning are the main concerns.

After that, hot and dry weather returns, with highs climbing into the upper 90s and near 100° later this week.

Hotter and drier conditions are expected across West Central Texas next week, with temperatures gradually increasing. By Thursday, highs may reach 100–103° across parts of the Big Country and northwestern Concho Valley.
