On May 12, we gathered at Old Parkland in Dallas with more than 100 investors, policy leaders, and civic leaders to discuss Smith’s enduring legacy and the economic debates defining this moment.

Our seminar highlights included remarks from:

In between, the Fellows did the real work discussing honorable business, the economics of everyday life, and how to actually say what you believe and be heard. We closed it out by tossing tea into Boston Harbor, reflecting on the principles that started it all.

Despite opportunities to strengthen Georgia’s economic outlook, lawmakers added $4.4 billion in new spending, expanded Medicaid, and increased government-backed housing authority bonds.
