@RedWhiteBlueJew Oh wow a false dichotomy. Which one shall I pick??? I don’t want to be accused of wanting Americans to die. This type of emotional blackmail might be successful with the lower IQ individuals
It's wild to watch MAGA now sound exactly like Rachel Maddow and Adam Schiff when talking about RUSSIA.
Russian civilization has produced remarkable works of literature, science, religion, architecture, politics. It's fascinating to visit. Talking to Russians is not sinister.
Guess what we’re still selling Israel offensive weapons. This temper tantrum the ultra pro Israel Right is having is very eye opening. It seems to me they were using Trump and our movement to get what they want. Instead of getting 100% of what they want right now they’re at risk of only getting 75% of what they want. The 100% was totally unrealistic and not even agreed upon by the way.
@eli13027 In fact I think they feel the same way about it when people try to say we’re harming some trans minority or something or pointing out what we do with the prison system or native Americans.
Today is dunk on James Lindsay day. I have something special for all of you. By the end of it I hope you’ll understand that James Lindsay has stretched the definition of Woke so far you could apply it to almost anything. I started out with his argument about how people who criticize Israel on the right are woke and simply replaced the Israel concepts with another country. Finding a way to make the grievance politics and oppressor oppression narratives related to China was easy when I used the logic James has. Here is my result:
“The “China Question” as Grievance Politics
The classical anxieties about rising civilizations and “yellow peril” have been reborn through the critical lens as the China Question: “What do we do about this competent, cohesive, high-achieving civilization that refuses to play the role of perpetual victim in the oppressor/oppressed script?” Legitimate concerns about CCP totalitarianism, IP theft, military expansionism, Uyghur policies, or Belt and Road debt-trap diplomacy exist and can be addressed through liberal realism—deterrence, alliances, reciprocity, and competition. But the grievance style of China criticism, especially the obsessive, totalizing kind that dominates certain corners, operates as wokeness by another name: a pseudo-religious critical consciousness that reads all Chinese success or assertiveness as proof of hidden power structures that must be deconstructed.
On the left, this takes the familiar postcolonial form. China becomes the Han settler-colonial oppressor against “indigenous” Tibetans, Uyghurs, or Taiwanese; its economic rise is reframed not as lifting hundreds of millions from poverty via market reforms, but as exploitation of the Global South and “stolen” technology. Asian achievement gets pathologized as “model minority” complicity or systemic privilege. On the dissident right, it mirrors the same epistemology: conspiratorial spirals about omnipotent CCP infiltration of everything, every domestic failure blamed on eternal Chinese plots, cultural or demographic anxiety dressed up as existential civilizational war demanding purity tests and isolation. This is critical theory for nationalists—power analysis over evidence, moral inversion, and resentment-driven gnosticism that sees a hidden cabal behind competence and order.
That’s the tell: wokeness isn’t ultimately about the target—it’s about the method. Real critique of the CCP strengthens civilization through clear-eyed realism. Grievance politics weaponizes selective outrage, double standards, and totalizing narratives to demoralize and invert. The China Question, like its predecessors, often reveals more about the critic’s ideology than about China itself. When “woke” expands to pathologize any robust pushback against a genuine authoritarian rival, it shows how the framework has been stretched into a universal solvent for any inconvenient competence or threat assessment.”
From this mirror experiment you can only come to one of two conclusions I think. Either James Lindsay has stretched the definition of Woke so far I can literally apply it to almost anything or everyone’s opinions and actions including Israel could fit into the category. In fact James Lindsay uses the fringe ideology on the right to paint more moderate people as adjacent to extreme. If you look at the pro Israel lobby they all believe Qatar is responsible for everyone disliking Israel around the world. It’s not even fringe with them. Your grievance against left wing politics is something I could fit into his definition.
If you get the chance share this with James Lindsay. He blocked me for pointing stuff like this out.
@ConceptualJames
I completely disagree. In fact I would say the James Lindsay type crowd is actually along the lines of Trotskyists aggressively criticizing Stalinism. In fact Trotsky seems to be the main ideology behind the neoconservative mindset that has evolved over time. They brand themselves as anti communist but are only there to support the neoconservative ultra interventionist mindset spreading democracy and pro Israel sentiment across the world with our military. It’s very similar. But obviously from the Chinese perspective they have a different idea than were stealing your IP and persecuting the Uyghurs
If you’re so deep into an ideology that you’re riding with another country’s flag in the bio don’t get surprised when the more nationalist side of politics criticizes you. They did the same to all the Ukraine flag in be bio people. You over analyzing a small quip doesn’t really help your case. Especially when you’re talking about people who’s whole thing is going out of their echo chamber and debating compared to the on a who say “how dare you platform them”.
That might end up being a little petty even if I support memorializing the people or getting their family the official answers they deserve. This is one of those things that was so long ago it almost doesn’t matter.
The reason it is interesting is because it’s the only time we almost went to war with Israel. We decided to cover up the incident with an official story that served as an ok distraction from what really likely happened. Official story enjoyers will hate this.
Anyone that looks into it will find out that it’s very likely that the Liberty picked up proof of some action that was against international norms and laws and Israel tried to sink the Liberty. That failed due to some amazing work from the crew. The US deployed fighter jets and pulled them back. Then covered up the incident to protect a Cold War alliance. Our intermingling with Israel started there and increased since then.
On June 8, 2026, I’ll speak on the floor of the House to honor and memorialize the brave crew of the 🇺🇸 USS Liberty who died and were wounded in an unprovoked attack by 🇮🇱 Israel on June 8, 1967. Catch my speech on @cspan.
This is what I’m talking about with the talking out of both sides of their mouth. The Kurds are largely Islamic Sunni Islam and they want to fund them as an insurgent group against Shia Iran. The only difference between them and any other Sunni Islamic sect is that they basically practice Sufism. Which is interesting and most likely influenced by early freemasonry. Leading me to believe this group is under our influence but we’ve been down this road before. Maybe the weapons will be used to destabilize Iran now but they may not stay in those hands. Let’s also be honest we have a track record of funding one radical to get rid of another. We will see how this goes.
This is could be the reason for Trump’s restraint.
Mossad transferred captured Hezbollah and Hamas weapons to the Kurds.
When news broke that the USA had attempted to transfer weapons that never arrived for an uprising that never happened, I stated that was not our only avenue to get weapons in.
They might not be prepared just yet.
An armed insurgency is still a very real possibility. If so, expect a guerrilla warfare style ground campaign when bombs start dropping again.
@angertab I think it’s hilarious that the plan is to fund a Sunni breakaway militant group against a Shia state. What could go wrong. Historically a lot but you do you I guess Mossad and the United States.
All the people who care deeply about Russian influence also think Israel is the same thing as the United States so their influence amounts to nothing. China influence is more concerning to me but I also think all of the same people will defend the Israel influence so hard that it allows doors for Russia and China. They won’t close those doors because of their Israel interest. So their complaints fall on my deaf ears.
@DrexelGlen19289 Right? These people talking about clicks are ridiculous. Same people that celebrated their metrics on Facebook and against mainstream media a few years ago.
Glenn Beck doesn’t tell you the entire story. He acts like this is some new information and not exactly what the Left was arguing during Russiagate. In fact this is a complete revival of Russiagate. I will share articles from almost 10 years ago with the same information. I want you to note the differences.
The reason why the left hates Russia and Dugin the most is because they are opposed to liberalism. They are opposed to us exporting the woke agenda around the world with things like USAID. During 2016-2017 at the height of Russiagate Dugin was using similar wording to Trump and still does in some ways. Our side is also opposed to liberals and the same sort of exporting of American left wing ideology. This doesn’t mean we agree with Russia on everything or even most of their Eurasian movement
The EU is also very against Russia for many reasons. One of them being believing that Russia influenced the Brexit type narrative to hurt the west. It’s not like I don’t see Russian influence at all or the idea that they promote already existing sentiments that are beneficial to their world view. Brexit and Trump were not fueled by Russian Marxist thinking. It was fueled by anti globalism which is the thing we all see in the WEF and UN. In fact this Russian movement is kind of anti Marxist. Which makes me believe we don’t have to push Russia and China into a bloc together at all. We don’t have to fight Russia with proxies forever in my opinion.
I realize the religious aspects will trigger a lot of dispensationalist types. The ones who believe that Russia, China and a bunch of Islamic countries will group up together and try to take Israel. Usually including Russia, China, Turkey and others. A lot of people don’t even believe that prophecy is about modern times, but I can also tell you current actions are driving that faction together. No matter what end timed theology you believe or if you don’t believe it at all, these thoughts are clearly influencing Nations actions. Something I hope we can reverse before anyone thinks it’s time to attempt their version of the end times.
All I know is that I’m against the exporting of American left wing ideology to achieve global homogenization. An angle I believe the left and China are totally invested in. What are your thoughts?
