.@marcorubio Powerful words from then Senator Marco Rubio on the Senate floor.
“I think politics has made us crazy. Everybody in this country has lost their minds on politics, and we have forgotten that America isn’t a government. America isn’t a president. America isn’t a Congress. Let me tell you what America is. America is your family. America is your faith. America is your community. That’s America.”
He went on to emphasize that this is what our adversaries don’t understand — and what we must remember to rebuild a brighter future.
In a time of deep division, this is a timely reminder: America is bigger than Washington. It’s the people, the values, and the communities that make this country strong.
Should he run for VP with @JDVance as POTUS?
They left home as boys 8 decades ago to go out and save the world. Last night they sat at the WWII Memorial together and celebrated their country's 250th. Still heroic.
In 1982, Robin Williams did a routine as the American Flag for the Norman Lear produced tv special "I Love Liberty" created to bridge political divides - and it's one of the greatest pieces you'll see 🇺🇸

It is sad day indeed when a news-breaking interview with Steve Witkoff, where he lays out in detail for nearly 40 minutes, the shocking information and events that occurred during the three meetings with the Iranian regime's negotiators, and not a single so-called major news outlet reports on it. In fact, many of our conservative outlets have ignored it as well. Yet, what he said makes crystal clear why POTUS decided to take military action and why he decided when he decided. Instead, we hear endless claims that the military action was unnecessary, that the Iranian regime was ready to make a deal, that progress was being made, that the Israelis forced our hand, that there was no imminent threat, and on and on. Shame on all the media outlets and aggregator sites that have ignored Witkoff's firsthand account.
