There is a report of an attempted carjacking. Suspect is reported to be armed with a knife.

MN State Patrol is currently on scene responding to a crash on Hwy 61N. Hwy 61 northbound is closed between 80th St & 70th St. The duration of this closure is unknown at this time. 61 southbound remains open to traffic. MN State Patrol is responding and investigating this crash
