Feeling sad that @CGSWinchester has now officially closed but incredibly grateful to @AugustaAtrox @DrSianEdwards @jo_strong_ & all the fabulous presenters from this year's symposium for making my time as an ambassador for the centre so rewarding & wonderful ❤️
3/3 Though we are closing in the meantime, we hope to re-appear at some point in the future. Until then, we’ll say thank you to all and goodbye for the moment.
2/3 We want to thank all those who have supported the Centre and have participated in its activities and those who have served as convenors of the Centre. Our success would not have been possible without you.

We’re live with Cassie Lowe and ‘“Clean Yourself Up!”: An Aesthetic Approach to Abject Education” and very much looking forward to this Work in Progress!
Much of this abjection in schoolchildren is caused by shame and awkwardness in both boys and girls. This abjection is still cultural and contextual.
In wider society, the female body is abject not in and of itself but because it reflects the system in which these bodies exist.
We're excited for our MA Day Conference on 7 May @_UoW! Contact @SimonSandall1 for details, and the programme is below with keynote @bronachkane. Our Day Conference gives our MA students a chance to showcase their work in a professional setting, a great aspect of our programme.
Thank you to our speakers for such an engaging symposium about gender & sexuality! From policy to history to institutions, we learned lots about the field's ongoing research.
Our symposium may be over, but stay tuned for more gender & sexuality content! https://t.co/JmxZGPl8tz
