U.S. Food & Drug Administration approves emergency use of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5-11. It says tests show it is 90.7% effective, comparable to the 16-25 age group. There were no serious side effects among any of the approximately 3,100 children tested.
