#genechat : what is your favorite conference to go to besides NSGC? Cardiovascular-related conferences are also very welcome, just want to be able to get some CEUs!
Our 2nd year students are involved with #GCsforChoice, an organization fighting for reproductive rights and increased access to abortion. At the NSGC Conference this week, get yourself a tote or sticker by donating to the National Abortion Federation. @gcs4choice#NSGC2023
@kalin_kyte Literally had issues registering, launching/taking, and now getting scores from the exam. The amount of mental and emotional load (not to mention financial load) is insane. I almost couldn’t start my job because I needed an exam date to get licensed!
This ABGC board exam season was a complete mess. The exam was bad enough and the way ABGC has handled releasing scores is adding insult to injury. We deserve better. #GeneChat
From now on, breakfast and lunch will be free for every public school student in Massachusetts.
That means no more paperwork for teachers.
No more pressure on families.
No more kids going hungry in class ever again.
Super excited to report that the Aortic Dissection: The Patient Guide is available to download at https://t.co/ShWAzVtajB! Please share with your friendly neighborhood cardiothoracic surgeon today, as they can order hard copies at no cost! #aortaed#aorticdissection@AorticHope
The Supreme Court's decision to strike down affirmative action, including in professional schools, like medical and nursing, will have detrimental consequences on Black health for generations to come. This is about life & death for us. Today, we are only 5% of physicians.
It is settling in that WE DID IT! 🧬🎓 Eternally grateful for the amazing humans I’ve met during my time at @ColumbiaGCP and looking forward to returning to @MGHHeartHealth as a genetic counselor in just a few weeks! 🫀🥳 #GeneChat
