The USA is showing strategic leadership in the Baltics, countering threats. Two battalions on combat readiness training duty is a strong deterrence capability and we are thankful to the 🇺🇸 for steadily providing to our safety.

Last week I visited 🇺🇦 with my team. Have a lot to learn from warfighting armed forces, starting with UAVs, AD and fortification. We will continue to support them with every means possible.
I am thankful to gen. Syrskyi for the visit, wishing for nothing but victory to Ukraine!

Today the Lithuanian CHOD general Raimundas Vaikšnoras met the commander of the 45th German brigade "Litauen" commander BG Huber. The arrival of commander is a next step in the evolution of the brigade and now the Initial staff element with its leadership is here!🇱🇹🤝🇩🇪

A particularly relevant topic - implementation of the #Orsha defense plan, joint exercises and synchronization of defence plans between countries in deterring and countering potential threats.

Together with the Minister of Defence @LKasciunas presented the unmanned capability development to the media and also - public. As we have learned, these capabilities are of core importance in a modern military conflict.
