@ElizabethChuck1 Aurelia sp. (moon jellyfish) As a cnidarian, it has stinging cells but this species is considered to rarely cause stings, and in such cases, the stings are considered mild (redness of skin and itchy feeling shortly). It is safe to swim, but just as a precaution, avoid touching.

Just a few centimetres of beauty... This small hydro meduza 𝑵𝒆𝒐𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒂, seen and caught by our PhD student Ivan Vlasicek near the old city of Rovinj Rovigno. It is a normal inhabitant of the Adriatic Sea but small in size an rare.

Danas smo imali radionicu o PP 8 Sjeverni Jadran u sklopu projekta Cascade-Interreg IT-HR za učenike Oš Vladimira Nazora Rovinj. Naučili su o Jadranskom moru, planktonu, ugroženim i invazivnim vrstama te imali radionicu na mikroskopima gdje su gledali što živi u kapi mora.
