A few photos from today’s chase. Ended up on the Peoria supercell for a while, but was unable to get south fast enough for the tornado warned storms near Springfield. No tornadoes, but still a decent enough day.

I'm going to be headed towards the Peoria area this afternoon. This is a very dangerous situation, if you're chasing do it safely, for those of you not chasing have a way to receive warnings and know where your safe place is if a warning is issued.

Latest HRRR run shows two rounds of storms, around 3 PM and 7 PM respectively. Models seem pretty consistent in placing a supercell to the northwest of McLean county. My plan will be to base somewhere near Morton and go from there.
