On a serious note about #facebookdown it's likely to be a BGP / DNS misconfiguration. It's also going to be a massive headache to resolve as all their internal addressing is likely to be screwed too - huge virtual spaghetti.

@LMHRConsulting @virginmedia Unless cable is your only option Virgin Media is definitely one to avoid- famously hopeless. BT Openreach own all the other networks so no matter who you use you are on BT, just getting a packaged and often limited service if not buying from them direct.
