@PhilPina@MaryEDivine@PioneerPress She is being charged with Murder - 3rd Degree - Perpetrating Eminently Dangerous Act and Evincing Depraved Mind....not second degree attempted murder
How is this person even employed by the @MinnCorrections ?
This guy his criminal record is longer than the records of at least 60% of the Man/Woman in the Minnesota correctional system
Did you all know that SECURUS is lobbying prisons and jails to shut down actual visits so they can make more money off video visits?
I didn’t either, but somehow it doesn’t surprise me a bit coming from these greedy selfish clowns 🤡
Facebook live of the holiday vigil and March for freedom to honor and memorialize those who have died of covid while incarcerated. organized by Iwoc (twin cities incarcerated workers organizing committee)

The “safest” population to release are those serving life sentences. That’s just Fact. Data. Research. And yes, ppl who (decades ago) have committed a violent act such as murder. It’s hard to talk about but we have to be honest & make this conversation normal, not run from it.
Web of lies 3. @ppschnell today you told @AngelaDavisMPR on @MPRnews that you couldn’t change sentences. YOU HAVE THE POWER BY MNSTAT: 243.05 to parole any person sentenced to confinement in any state correctional facility for adults under the control of the commissioner
He applied for conditional medical release in the beginning of this pandemic... HE GOT DENIED. 45 days ago he reapplied and it was going to be a expedited application... this morning he passed away after serving 29 years in your facility.
Web of lies 2: @ppschnell you told @AngelaDavisMPR today on @MPRnews that medical release was specially for those on hospice like situations. This morning Craig Friend passed away after batting cancer in the oak park heights facility
Web of lies 1.... @ppschnell you told @AngelaDavisMPR today at the @MPRnews radio that you released 1500 people due covid..but you only let out 300..all the others where released because THEY completed THEIR sentence. Not because you granted release
(3/3) @AngelaDavisMPR And to finish this I want to thank the staff of oak park heights. THANK YOU for doing all you can to keep everyone safe with the limited resources Paul schnell gives you. The DOC is failing everyone 🤍
(1/3)@AngelaDavisMPR 284 days without visiting(even when they could have opened Oak park heights like other facilities through the state they didn’t)
No one with a loved one incarcerated is doing well right now.
how could we be fine with the lack of transparency from the DOC?
(2/3) @AngelaDavisMPR we are terrified to get a call that our loved ones sentence turned into a death sentence and that in 2020 a long 109 years after the abolition of capital punishment.
Paul schnell is doing a terrible job in protecting those at his care and his staff members

After spending 18 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, it is outrageous that #myonburrell has to report to a parole officer for two more years. HE’S NOT FREE....HE’S VISIBLE. I’m still saying #FreeMyon#wronglyconvicted
Thank you @jpay for your amazing non working service 🤦🏻♀️
With all that you charge us to communicate with our loved ones at least invest some of it back in your company to make everything work properly.
#jpay
What's your take on this? "@MinnCorrections should release less people than they could for COVID-19 because those with the resources to qualify to be released are more likely to be whites"
The Commissioner of Corrections used this line so thought I'd get some community thoughts
