@anish_koka One important question we need to answer from the pandemic is: How do we best communicate complicated, nuanced scientific information to a population of people that largely do not understand science in the current climate of short attention spans, 24 hr news media snippets, etc?
@mandeep_mayo Seemed to be corresponding deflection in V3 also (blue arrow) (admittedly not the best lead to look for atrial depol). Also, it does look like a positive deflection in lead II; would expect retrograde P to be downward deflection in lead II. Hadnโt considered T-wave sensing. ๐ค
@mandeep_mayo Acc. junctional rhythm with RBBB, retrograde P-wave buried in the tail of the QRS is sensed by atrial lead causing ventricular lead to fire, but stimulus occurs during ventricular repolarization, so ventricular pacing stimulus is not captured.
@mandeep_mayo Low voltage deflection at the end of the QRS in lead II (red arrow), I thought might be retrograde P. It could just be part of the QRS complex, but it seemed abnormal. Pacer spike comes about 180-200ms after that, so it seemed like timing would make sense.
@Experiential_Dr Sorry to see this attitude exists, & that you were subjected to it. We need dedicated physicians committed to providing the best care to our patients regardless of your race, gender, country of origin, etc. #Diversity in all forms is important! Ignore the ignorance. Good luck!
@MdSpuds One of my colleagues at IU has written about his own struggle, and from all those who know him, is an incredible individual. He may be able to provide some additional insight. @adamhill1212 It takes courage to ask for help. We are all with you.
Thank you @Babar_Basir for your visit and highly educational Grand Rounds talk on Cardiogenic Shock Management in 2020. Invasive hemodynamics and early escalation to MCS is crucial to improving outcomes in these patients. #cardiotwitter#accfit @HFHCardioFellow @IUCVInstitute
Never confuse education with intelligence.
Intelligence isn't the ability to remember and repeat, like they teach you in school.
Intelligence is the ability to learn from experience, solve problems, and use our knowledge to adapt to new situations.
