Good News: PISA Assessment Will Be Coming to the South East Soon

After I wrote about my desire for the South East to participate in the PISA assessment, I received a message from Raj.

He flew in from the United States, and we met in Toronto to discuss extensively how the assessment could be conducted across the region.

This assessment is very important to me because if the South East performs strongly on the global stage, it could significantly boost the region’s international reputation and help demonstrate the quality of talent we are developing. This could strengthen our case for attracting world-class companies such as Apple, Texas Instruments, NVIDIA, Tesla, and others to invest in the region.

We are deliberately nurturing a large pool of exceptional talent, and the world needs to see what is happening here.

In 10 years, our ambition is for the South East to become a major source of talent for the global workforce.

And we are very serious about it.

Nigeria trains doctors and nurses, then frustrates them until they leave for UK, Europe, Canada and America.

Our politicians destroy the hospitals at home, fall sick, then fly abroad only to be treated by the same Nigerians they forced out, at 300 times the cost.

What a foolish country.

✍️ Hello X I’m Precious, an Author and Storyteller.
I’ve always had stories living in my head—stories about people, culture, love, fear, faith, power, tradition, and the complicated choices that make us human.
Now, I’m putting those stories into words.
📚 What I create: • Novels and novellas
• Psychological thrillers and drama
• African and culturally rooted stories
• Film and screenplay concepts
• Original characters and fictional worlds
My stories may begin in an African village, a modern city, a family home, or somewhere completely unexpected—but I want them to travel far beyond where they began.
I recently published my first book, Seven Heads, and this is only the beginning. I’m currently developing more stories, including Daughters of Covenant, Just Give Me a Reason, and other projects I hope will one day move from the page to the screen.
For me, storytelling isn’t about creating perfect people or perfect worlds. I’m interested in people who are messy, choices that have consequences, cultures worth exploring, and stories that leave you thinking after the final page.
Good stories live forever.
I’m looking forward to connecting with readers, writers, filmmakers, publishers, and everyone who simply loves a good story.
