Thank You, Community. Our Shared Journey Continues.
Hello everyone,
The 7-day vote (https://t.co/caodCeCUee) for the DAO v1.1 proposal has officially concluded.
In the end, 527,873,238 CKB participated and the proposal received 65.08% approval, which did not meet the 67% threshold required for a meta-rule change. According to the rules, the DAO v1.1 proposal has not passed.
We fully accept and respect this democratic decision from the community.
Although the proposal itself did not pass, we want to state that what we experienced together over the past month has been an incredibly successful governance event. In this vote:
- The total participating CKB peaked at 603 million, representing 8.4% of the entire Nervos DAO.
- This was, without question, the highest-engagement, most in-depth, and most intense public debate in the CKB Community Fund DAO's history.
We succeeded in refocusing the entire community's attention on a deep discussion about the future of the DAO. We re-engaged dormant voters and sparked a genuine debate about the DAO's core bottlenecks. For this alone, all our efforts were worthwhile.
Our Deepest Gratitude
We want to extend our sincere gratitude to every single participant:
- To everyone who voted YES, thank you. Your trust and support were the fuel that kept us going until the very last minute.
- We must also thank everyone who voted NO and those who offered sharp critiques and rigorous scrutiny. Your challenges (on the budget, the process, and the core premise) are the most valuable check and balance in DAO governance. You forced us to constantly refine our thinking and made this debate truly meaningful.
- Thank you to everyone who joined the discussions on Talk, Telegram, and Twitter.
What's Next
While the v1.1 proposal did not pass, the problems it sought to solve have not disappeared.
The issue of the DAO's stagnation is still in front of us. The proposal team will take a short break, and we will carefully review all the disagreements and consensus points that emerged during this vote.
Our commitment to the CKB ecosystem is unchanged, and our exploration of DAO governance will not stop. We believe the community will draw strength from this profound discussion, and that a more mature v1.2 or v2.0 proposal that can achieve broader consensus will emerge in the future.
The road is long, but we will keep walking!
Thank you all again.

Godwoken played an important role in the journey to bring EVM compatibility to #Nervos. The CKB team has learned a lot from it — and now, as the industry evolves, they’re evolving toward more sustainable and efficient scaling paths that align with the long-term vision.

"My Web5" =
🔑 did:web5 → sovereign identity
💸 Fiber → fast, private daily payments
📦 PDS → data you own & move
🧠 CKB → the nervous system connecting it all
Web5 isn't about tokens. It's about fixing data ownership and rebuilding the internet on values that last. 👉 Everyone may have their own Web5. What matters is building from aligned values.

Heads up, developers! 👋
We're upgrading the RGB++ contract this month for better performance and stability, which involves migrating our SPV service.
Action required: If you self-host our BTC Asset API (https://t.co/sjK3dLdsou) with the old SPV service, you'll need to prepare for the switch. The old service will be discontinued, and this upgrade is essential to keep your app running smoothly.
We'll be dropping a full migration guide and the new endpoint address soon. Keep an eye on our official channels!

#Bitcoin was the first to introduce the concept of addresses as distinct from accounts. But this got lost over time!
#Ethereum then made addresses = accounts, trading privacy 🕵️♂️ for usability.
How will #Nervos CKB fix this? 👇 https://t.co/q9Nwfs8Xon
To the World Liberty Financials team and the global community,
As one of the early major investors in World Liberty Financials, I have contributed not only capital but also my trust and support for the future of this project. My goal has always been to grow alongside the team and community, and to jointly build a strong and healthy WLF ecosystem.
However, during the course of operations, my tokens were unreasonably frozen.
As one of the early investors, I joined together with everyone—we bought in the same way, and we all deserve the same rights.
I love and respect every member of this community. Tokens are sacred and inviolable—this should be the most basic value of any blockchain. It’s also what makes us stronger and more fair than traditional finance.
I call on the team to respect these principles, unlock my tokens, and let’s move forward together toward the success of World Liberty Financials.
I believe that a truly great financial brand must be built on fairness, transparency, and trust—not on unilateral actions that freeze investor assets. Such measures not only violate the legitimate rights of investors, but also risk damaging broader confidence in World Liberty Financials.
⚠️ VM Security Update for Devs
As part of strengthening CKB, we regularly review older VMs and share issues we find.
One of CKB's strengths: you can always choose past VM versions. This design keeps asset ownership safe—even through hardforks. 🔐✅ But older VMs aren't without risks.
In our theoretical analysis, we found that v1 `exec` might display deterministic but non-standard behavior in certain edge cases, potentially leading to unexpected script execution results.
⚠️We recommend developers avoid `exec` in VM v1.
In cases like this, we may add protective measures (e.g., at the mempool) to filter risky txs.
These are NOT consensus changes—VM choice stays yours. The network adds safeguards, but you remain in control. 🛡️

Hello everyone! We are planning an important contract update for RGB++ in the near future.
First and foremost, please be assured that this update will not introduce any compatibility issues.
For the vast majority of developers and projects, this upgrade will be seamless. If your application or service uses the official rgbpp-sdk, you do not need to take any action. The SDK will automatically handle all the necessary changes.
Special Note:
If your application builds transactions manually at a low level (i.e., you assemble transactions yourself), please be aware that the cell deps for related transactions will change after the contract upgrade. To ensure your services continue to operate smoothly post-update, please be prepared and pay attention to the technical details we will release later.
We will announce the specific timeline for the update separately. Please stay tuned to our official channels for the latest information.
Thank you for your continued support of RGB++!

Web5 = Web2 + Web3
The significance of Web5 lies in drawing a clear boundary visible to people: the boundary between non-custody and custody, high cost and low cost, censorable and censorship-resistant, self-sovereign and platform-sovereign.
