Very moving memorial this evening @ChicagoKentLaw in honor of former colleague Prof Ralph Brill, nationally known and incredibly influential founder of our famous legal writing program and of our esteemed Moot Court Honor Society plus Judge Ilana Rovner Moot Court Competition.
The #ChicagoKent College of Law community mourns the loss of Professor of Law Emeritus Ralph L. Brill. Brill passed away Friday evening.

2. I am leaving my fabulous job as professor & director of appellate advocacy at Chicago-Kent for a fabulous job on the faculty at Santa Clara Law. So many feels.
The Honorable Ilana D. Rovner (LAW ’66) became the first woman to be appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in 1992.
Today, Rovner is receiving an honorary doctorate of law. 👏🎓 #IllinoisTechGrad
