It's absolutely okay to choose your own life partner. You have every right to love whoever you want and build a life with the person your heart chooses. But please, don't lead people on by saying you're single, flirting freely, and being open to multiple people at the same time. That's not the behaviour we expected from you. Everyone has a heart. Everyone has feelings. They're human beings, not toys to be played with.
Aren't you the same person who once said you wanted to stay single forever? So please, don't hurt your fans anymore. Stay with whoever you want to stay with. Love whoever you want to love. That's your choice, and nobody has the right to take that away from you. But please, be mindful of the things you say and the actions you take. You can't say one thing today and act in a way that gives someone hope tomorrow.
There was a time when you said, "Your heart wanted to kiss, so you kissed." Girl, please understand that a kiss isn't always just a kiss to the person receiving it. Especially when that person loves you as more than a sister.
For someone who has feelings for you, that kiss might mean so much more. It might feel like you're giving them a chance to love you back, to believe that their feelings might be reciprocated, and to hope that maybe, someday, there's a future for the two of you.
She might start dreaming about a life with you, imagining the two of you living together in a beautiful castle somewhere in her dreams. She might lie awake every night, imagining kissing you, holding you close, and making love to you in the same bed. While you might see it as a moment that simply happened because your heart wanted it, she might carry that moment into every dream, every sleepless night, and every hope she has for the future.
That's the difference. What feels like a fleeting moment to one person can become a lifetime of hope for another.
You may not intend to hurt anyone, but sometimes, even without meaning to, you can give someone hope that you never intended to fulfil. And when that person eventually realises that the future they've been dreaming about may never happen, the heartbreak can be unbearable.
So please, don't lead anyone on. Don't give someone reasons to fall deeper in love with you if you already know your heart belongs somewhere else. Don't let someone build dreams around your words, your kisses, and your affection if you cannot see them in your future.
You have every right to choose your happiness, but the people who love you deserve honesty, too. They deserve to know where they stand, rather than being left to interpret every word, every gesture, and every kiss as a possible sign of love.
Please, don't make someone feel special in a way that makes them believe they have a chance with you when, deep down, you know someone else holds your heart.
Choose your person. Live your life. Be happy with whoever you want. Nobody is asking you to sacrifice your happiness for anyone else.
Just please, be careful with other people's hearts. Because not everyone who falls in love with you knows how to stop loving you when you finally walk away. 💔
Engfa said, “Whoever cannot accept and understand can simply leave. If I can’t keep them, I’ll let them go.”
It feels as though we are expected to quietly accept the consequences of her choices and the reactions that follow, without being allowed to express how deeply those choices have affected us. If we speak up, we are seen as people who cannot understand her. If we cannot bring ourselves to leave, we are expected to keep enduring the hurt. And if we eventually walk away, perhaps she will simply see it as another person she could not keep.
But does she understand what that really means to some of us? Some people, including me, had lost their sense of purpose in life before finding their passion for living again through her. Some found happiness, hope, and something to look forward to because of her. And now, to be told so casually that if we cannot accept the situation, we should simply leave? Does she have any idea how deeply hurtful that feels?
Sometimes, fans are not being stubborn, unreasonable, or unwilling to move on. Sometimes, we are struggling to let go because someone we once looked up to, someone who became a source of inspiration and meaning in our lives, has suddenly shattered the image we held onto. Perhaps we just want to hold on a little longer, trying to convince ourselves that everything we believed in, everything we cherished, and all the meaning we found along the way were not all for nothing.
But perhaps we were foolish to expect anyone to understand.
After all, weren’t these the very things her own boss described as “delusional moments” and “acting”? Something so abstract, so difficult to define, something no one could ever definitively prove to be real or otherwise. We held on to moments, words, and feelings, piecing them together into something that meant the world to us. We believed in something that gave us happiness, hope, and a reason to look forward to tomorrow, even when we could never be certain what it truly meant to the people at the centre of it all.
And perhaps that is where we were always going to lose. How could we ever expect others to understand something that was never clearly defined in the first place? How could we ask someone else to understand a belief that even we could never fully prove, when all we had were the moments we witnessed, the feelings we carried, and the hope we chose to hold on to?
Maybe we don’t need to be understood after all. Maybe we were the ones who gave those moments so much meaning, who built so much happiness around something so intangible, and who allowed ourselves to believe that what we felt was something worth holding on to.
Perhaps this is karma catching up with us. Hahaha.
And maybe that is the most painful part of all: we are not just grieving what happened. We are also struggling to understand what everything we once treasured means to us now. We are trying to reconcile the happiness we genuinely felt with the possibility that the things we believed in may never have meant the same to everyone involved. How do you let go of something that once gave you so much, when you don’t even know which parts of it you are supposed to mourn—the memories themselves, the hopes you built around them, or the meaning you thought they held?
If I had to describe 2025–2026 in one sentence, it would be this: it was like a magnificent firework display that never got the chance to illuminate the night sky with its brightest, most beautiful, and most spectacular colours. Before it could fully bloom, a sudden downpour came, and everything was extinguished before our eyes.
And after everything that has happened, there has been no thoughtful consideration, no dignified handling of the situation, and no apology. After all this time, we are still left carrying the hurt ourselves, wondering whether everything we felt, everything we cherished, and everything we went through ever truly mattered to anyone else. @Waratin2115 No entiendo como se puede seguir apoyando esto con las faltas de respeto y empatía que ha tenido una de las partes hacia su compañero de ship. Es que esto es increíble.
ya’ll are my day ones and i’ll always cherish the good times, but i won’t pretend the blatant disrespect you and your circle showed your partner never happened. i’m a fan, not a fool.
and with that, i’ll be shutting up.
This is my one and only statement about this subject and I’m moving on. Let me make something VERY clear. I don’t care who anyone chooses to date or pursue. That’s their personal life, and they’re entitled to it. But saying you’ve NEVER met anyone that bold? That’s where I have a problem. Because are we seriously going to sit here and rewrite history? There was someone who openly expressed their feelings, made their intentions clear, and repeatedly put their heart on the line in front of the entire world. Someone who endured criticism, harassment, public scrutiny, and an unbelievable amount of hate simply for being honest about how they felt. And through all of that, they never shied away from expressing those feelings.
That wasn’t bold? That wasn’t courage? That wasn’t someone taking an enormous emotional risk? Nobody is obligated to reciprocate someone’s feelings. Nobody owes anyone a relationship. But there’s a difference between moving forward with your life and making statements that seem to erase what someone else went through.
You can appreciate someone’s boldness today without diminishing the courage someone showed yesterday. And what bothers me most is how quickly people are willing to dismiss years of public history just to defend a statement made in the present. I’m not asking anyone to choose anybody. I’m asking people to stop acting like certain things never happened simply because the narrative has changed. You can move forward without rewriting the past. And you can acknowledge something new without erasing what came before it.
