We are the Collaborative Lab for Advancing Work in Space at the University of Michigan, developing software to enhance human space exploration! Go Blue!
Last month, CLAWS had the opportunity to go to the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston as a part of the NASA SUITS challenge! There, we were able to showcase and test our work that we have been developing for the past year! Here's a sample video that we showed to the NASA panel!
#UMichIOE's @LeiaStirling led the U-M Collaborative Lab for Advancing Work in Space in the @NASA SUITS Challenge. Student teams developed AR systems for astronauts navigating the moon in the upcoming Artemis missions. More @ https://t.co/lRDWMU8fGt

Happy first day of school to all! If you are interested in #space, #machinelearning, and #augmentedreality please visit our website: https://t.co/JHtLIQ8PUL to learn about all the cool projects for the year. Stay safe!
Students asked, and we answered! Our Space Q&A is now available on YouTube! Check it out to learn the answers to questions such as, โAre aliens real?โ #space#education#k12#explore#NASASUITS#NASA#umichengin https://t.co/SUG26z82oV
COVID-19 has prevented us from doing in-person K-12 outreach. So, we are holding a virtual Q&A about space! Weโre accepting questions at https://t.co/T4h4sfsMPL until May 18. Weโll post a video to our YouTube channel in the week following the deadline with the answers! ๐
Many thanks to @SEDSatUM for hosting a great event of talks and networking! We were excited to hear about the other innovative work being done by @michiganengineering and the space industry!
Our teamโs talk has been published by SEDS@UM! Check it out at:
