Class 1

We are Year 1 at Coates Lane Primary School in Barnoldswick. We love learning and can't wait to connect with the wider world.

@CoatesLaneSch The children in class 1 have shown great skills this morning in carefully and patiently weighing objects in class. Best get them baking cakes at home to use their skills 🍪😀

@_MissieBee @CLPSyr6 Think you might find these very useful in the coming months, Mr Maiden 🙂. Thanks for the great resource.

We had a great time yesterday painting our Christmas decorations - thanks to Claire from @ilovepaintpot of Clitheroe. The children can't wait to see the finished, fired product. @CoatesLaneSch

[Class 1 @CLPSyr1]

@CoatesLaneSch the children loved making these penguins from clay and painting them. They look great, too 😀.

The children in Class 1 have learned by heart a story which they helped to make up. They retold it using this story map - why not ask them if they can tell you the story using the map at home? @CoatesLaneSch
